Account Manager - Food & BeverageThis is a sales-oriented role, but it is heavily based on customer support and technical consulting.
Sales experience is NOT required , because all of our sales are done through explaining technical advantages, product uses and understanding the customer's applications and needs.
The clients you will consult are mostly long-term existing customers, so this is a great opportunity for someone to move into technical consulting sales .
The most important thing we look for is technical experience in Food and Beverage manufacturing.Type - Remote (3-4 days visiting customers, 1-2 days home office).
As a Technical Account Manager F&B you advise our existing customers within the Food & Beverage, sector about the professional cleaning and hygiene systems and applications of Diversey, especially our cleaning-in-place solutions.
Typical customers are breweries and producers of bottles water, juices and many other beverages.Additionally they include food manufacturers from meat and ready meals through canned goods, grains and pasta to bakeries and confectionery producers.
The main tasks of the Strategic Account Manager are:Consistently building long-term relationships with customers and positioning Diversey correctly
Drafting the commercial strategy and translating this into effective year and action plans
Relationship management, with a strong focus on long-term partnerships
Acquisition of new business with existing accounts.
A) A Bachelor in Food Technology or Chemistry, Microbiology etc.
B) Internal training and experience in production, quality or Hygiene.
Several years' experience in the food, beverage or dairy sector.
Experience with Hygiene or CIP
Valid driving license
Fluent English
