    We are a technology company that specializes in developing tools to interpret business information and uncover hidden growth opportunities for our clients.

    We have built a market leading position in a number of verticals with our flagship product, which helps sales teams to identify, win and grow their ideal customers in the UK.

    We are currently developing a globally-applicable AI-driven tool which we believe has the potential to revolutionize the sales profession.

    We are now looking to bring on an experienced VP Sales to help us achieve this and more.

    About the role...

    This is a full-time onsite role working alongside the CEO in our Marlow office.

    You will play a critical role in scaling our company's revenue growth. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing a strategic sales plan, managing all aspects of our sales operations, and leading our team to achieve maximum performance.

    • Evaluate the effectiveness of our sales process and refine our strategy to improve sales outcomes.
    • Build a high performing sales team. This includes day-to-day management, motivation, hiring and ongoing coaching.
    • Lead the sales process on key sales opportunities, supporting the team in particular with stakeholder management, negotiation, and closing.
    • Develop and nurture key relationships with major clients to support longer-term growth opportunities.
    • Build accurate reports on sales activities and regularly present to the leadership team, providing insight and recommendations based on these reports.
    • Build accurate sales forecasts presenting these to the leadership team to guide strategic planning and budgeting.
    • Identify new market opportunities and develop sales strategies to tap into these markets or customer segments.
    • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure marketing materials, product positioning, and campaign strategies are well-aligned with the sales strategy.

    With sales being at the heart of our business, we're looking for someone with a true passion for sales and a broad level of experience across the various functional roles. In particular, the ideal candidate will have:

    • Exceptional experience of building and leading high performing sales teams.
    • A deep knowledge of deploying different sales methodologies, in particular the 'Challenger Sale'.
    • Strong experience of accelerating growth at scale-up stage companies, ideally within the B2B SaaS space.
    • A proven ability to influence and motivate remote-working teams.
    • A strong track record of consistently setting and achieving ambitious sales targets.
    • A proven ability to negotiate and close large and complex deals.
    • A flair for problem solving and developing systems and processes to improve team performance.
    • Broad experience in developing strategic plans and forecasting sales results.
    • Administrative experience of Salesforce and/or Hubspot.
    • A strong knowledge of current and innovative sales technologies.
