    Treasury Manager
    Hertfordshire (Hybrid / Flexible Hours)
    Circa £60,000 - £70, % Bonus + Great Pension + Package

    Reporting to the Head of Treasury you will be joining a friendly and supportive team that serves the wider Group.

    Whilst the role does have 2 direct reports those seeking a step up in responsibility without previous leadership experience will be considered.

    The business takes staff development and training very seriously with numerous awards to this end.
    The above said, applicants MUST have significant previous experience within a Treasury role.


    Other experience that would be highly advantageous includes: Cash-flow forecasting, Foreign exchange risk management, Strong Excel Skills, Experience of a Large ERP SAP / Oracle, Good analytical and financial skills.


    More Details About the Role:

    • Optimise the cash position for the UK on a daily basis, anticipating short term, mid-term and long-term movements.
    • Monitor Risks and Opportunities to the cash position of the business and highlight these to the Group Treasury team.
    • In charge of monitoring cash forecasting liaising with Finance and Procurement, running monthly cash meeting and presenting to Senior Finance Leaders at Quarterly Cash Review meetings.
    • Ensure effective analysis of variances against forecast and budget and being able to explain cash variances versus budget through reporting.
    • Optimise services offered by relationship banks following the Group Treasury guidelines.
    • Responsible for managing FX exposure risks / lead hedging activity for the UK.
    • Review UK FX monthly balances and make recommendations for UK spot deals.
    • Support ongoing improvement activities within the Treasury function in the UK especially regarding tools and systems.
    • Support ongoing Group improvement activities including the opportunity to assist with ERP system upgrades.
    • Lead a team of 2 people, take responsibility for the review process and provide regular coaching and feedback to enhance overall team performance.
    • Provide expert advice, guidance and support to team members and internal customers.
    • Communicate with all levels effectively; challenge, negotiate and influence to achieve a desired goal/outcome.
    • Focal point for both internal and external Auditors.
    • Oversee / general management of company purchasing cards.
