    Description
    Opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to work as part of a close-knit team for a global company.

    You will get to work autonomously with the support of your line manager to diagnose and rectify mechanical performance issues while identifying areas for improvement.

    Private medical cover and a good pension scheme where the company will double your contribution up to 5% (5% employee, 10% employer).

    Investigating mechanical maintenance issues and proposing solutions.
    Technical specification and ordering of mechanical equipment as required.
    Involvement with Root Cause Analysis
    Leading the design and upgrade of mechanical components and systems from concept to installation
    Propose improvement ideas and support other disciplines with their improvement projects where necessary.
    Work with external suppliers to obtain quotations and manage contractor activity on site.
    Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably a heavy, industrial, process-driven setup
    Experience with a range of mechanical equipment such as pumps, heat exchangers, pipework, etc.

    A salary of £50,000 - £55,000 (dependent on experience) + pension, private medical, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, etc.

    8am-4:00pm Monday to Friday.
