    Description

    Position: Architecture & Networks Engineer

    Sector: EV & Electrical Systems

    Location: Solihull/hybrid

    Position Type: Contract

    Inside / Outside IR35: Outside IR35

    Contechs are recruiting on behalf of their client who are known for manufacturing luxury hand-crafted motorcycles. They are looking for an Architecture & Networks Engineer to join their expanding team on a Contract basis. The role will be based hybrid in Solihull.

    Job Description

    1. Oversee the design of new electrical architectures across all our client's products.
    2. Oversee the technical direction, specification, and delivery of vehicle communication systems such as CAN, LIN, and Flexray.
    3. Creation of system requirements for all ECU's and the whole vehicle networks.
    4. Responsible for the overall vehicle network sign-off and compliance of all ECU's.
    5. Responsible for CAN DBC file creation.

    Qualifications / Skills required

    Advanced knowledge of: Vector Canalyzer/CANoe/Canape tools
    Familiarity with the creation of scripts in: CAPL language
    Experience: working across various electrical modules, designing electrical architectures, using CAN databases
