Role purpose:

As Marketing Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing the Aldermore's Group Marketing Operational communications.


Working across all operational business lines including Risk, Customer Service, Collections and Sales, you will produce communications plans which delivers key messages to our colleagues, brokers and customers.


As Marketing Operations Manager you will involves triangulate customer needs, business requirements and market trends to produce a clear future view of what, where and when we conduct marketing activity.


As a key member of the Group Marketing team, you will have strong written communication skills and the ability to turn the complex into easy to digest messages and in our tone to voice.


you'll also have exemplary stakeholder management skills and act as an ambassador of the organisations and team's purpose, values, and culture.


About the role:

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Representing Group Marketing in the co-ordination, development and deployment of regulatory, risk and remediation-led communications including BBR changes
  • Managing the relationships with Group functions including Audit, Compliance and Risk
  • Representing Group Marketing on incident management, reporting up the line on required actions and deploying a communication plans
  • Maintenance and coordination of the Group Marketing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) repository, Risk Register, Asset Register(s) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP)
  • Drive operational efficiencies and best practice across Group Marketing communications
  • Lead the quality check process on Group Marketing financial promotions, working closely with Business Assurance teams
  • Working closely with Operational teams across the business to support with identified pain points and develop communications where required
  • Understand the technical aspects of communication requirement and translate into written and digital communications for customers, colleagues and brokers
  • Represent on bank wide projects as required
  • Take all necessary steps to ensure there are no reputational risk implications to the Group because of any marketing activity
  • Support the wider Group Marketing team with memberships, agency/supplier reviews and project management
  • Use the expertise and experience of the wider team and contribute to its objectives and plans

  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills to build partnerships across Group marketing to collate and deliver group requirements
  • Strong strategic project management experience excellent at planning, prioritising and supporting with process efficiency

  • Good attention to detail and work to challenging deadlines
  • A cando attitude is a win, things change very quickly and we constantly strive to adapt
  • Someone who leads by example, getting involved in the detail when required
