Compliance Manager - Outside IR3- Hybrid Working


Our client, a leading global Insurance firm, are currently looking to hire a Compliance Manager to join the team on an Outside IR35 contract basis.

This role will be for an initial 6 months, and hybrid working with the client site based in London.


The role will include activities associated with ensuring that existing or new regulatory requirements are correctly interpreted and include supporting the first line Operational Functions in ensuring that these expectations are applied consistently acrossthe firm, which may be as a result of changes to regulatory requirements or the firm's activities or processes.


The jobholder will also work closely with the Compliance Monitoring Team to oversee the delivery of their plan, and to provide support and guidance in developing new and enhanced data and MI capabilities.


Key Skills & Attributes

  • Will ideally have more than 5 years working as a Compliance Professional
  • A working knowledge of the business of a large insurance broker, including its general insurance and pure protection distribution activities, approaches to market, delegated authorities, remuneration structures, distribution chains, and classes of insurancebusiness.
  • Must be knowledgeable on regulatory expectations and the implementation of appropriate systems and controls across different business profile types.
  • Extensive experience of operating in the compliance department of a public company in the UK regulatory environment.
  • Likely to have previous experience of managing other compliance professionals
  • Evidence of being part of change programmes.
  • Broad and deep knowledge and use of the FCA handbook principles, rules and guidelines etc.
  • Experience in assessing and/or designing regulated related reports and management information packs.
  • A determined attitude, along with a high level of attention to detail, to ensure the completion of projects and activities in a timely and accurate manner.
