The post of Locum Consultant psychiatrist in the Community Integrated Mental Health Service (CIMHS) has become available due to the previous post-holder moving to another directorate in the Trust. The post-holder will job share with a part time substantive Consultant. This is an opportunity to join a growing and developing team providing high quality care to a neighbourhood of Newham.
Main duties of the job
Clinical duties of the post holder include :
To take the overall clinical psychiatric responsibility for patients under their care and to review patients regularly together with the multi-disciplinary team.
To provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and medical management of patients, by delivering the following interventions:
