    Calibration Engineer

    Rochester - On site

    £35,000 - £40,000 + additional benefits incl. 25 days holiday, share options, up to 14% pension and more

    Brief

    Calibration Engineer needed for a leading engineering firm based in the Rochester area.

    What the role of the Calibration Engineer entails:
    Some of the main duties of the Calibration Engineer will include:

    Undertake routine calibrations of electrical and mechanical test equipment, supporting site Operations
    Installation of ESD work stations
    Understand supplier / subcontractor traceability and calibration processes
    Perform continuous improvement activities
    Support the maintenance of test equipment, located on the shop floor What experience you need to be the successful Calibration Engineer:


    Essential:
    Previous experience of fault finding, repairing and testing electronic equipment
    Calibration background
    Ability to build and maintain excellent business relationships across all levels within the businessDesirable:

    Lean manufacturing knowledge

    HNC / HND in Mechanical or Electrical DisciplineThis really is a fantastic opportunity for a Calibration Engineer to progress their career.
