We are looking for a passionate, friendly and hard-working Lead Practitioner to join our nursery team at Earlham Grove, E7 9AP.

The Role
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day/40 hours per week, following a shift pattern.
Key Duties:
Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS
Promoting and supporting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
Take necessary steps to safeguard all who access the setting, adhering to the safeguarding policy
Ensuring the health, safety and well-being of the children at all times
Flexible in working hours if required.
Support daily routines.
Follow policies and procedures.
Leading staff members and teams.
Light cleaning duties.
Maintain a high level of supervision.
Maintain confidentiality.
Requirements
The successful applicant will need to have
Level 3 qualification
Previous room leader experience
Strong leadership skills
Work well in a team
Great understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (EYFS)
Strong passion for a child-centred approach to play and learning
Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
Excellent organisation skills and time-management
