    Description

    The Client:


    One of the most recognisable regional names in the local area, operating throughout East Anglia, this modern, forward-thinking main contractor have quickly developed a reputation as one of the leading builders in the area, delivering an exciting range of complex projects across a range of sectors including residential, offices, commercial and education.


    The Role:


    Looking to strengthen the support functions within the business, they seek a forward-thinking Office Manager to support the directors of the business and oversee the existing administration function.

    Managing a busy office, you'll be looking after all areas of general administration, helping manage the director's diaries and time and liaising closely with Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, Contracts Managers and more.


    Responsibilities:

    • Overseeing day to day administration of the business, overseeing the current administration staff.
    • Basic finance and accounting duties.
    • All aspects of keeping the office functional, recording communications and general purchasing.
    • Customer care record keeping.
    • Raising purchase orders, issuing quotations.
    • Effective communication with clients, suppliers, external consultants and colleagues through to senior management.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years previous experience within an Office Management or Senior Administration role.
    • Previous construction industry experience is essential.
    • Basic accounting knowledge / qualification is desirable.
