    Description

    At The Wise Seeker we are currently engagedin the recruitment process for a company dedicated to supportingchildren with cancer. The vision of this organization is centeredon fostering a world where every child and young person overcomescancer. Statistics reveal that approximately 4200 children andyoung individuals receive cancer diagnoses annually in the UKtranslating to an average of 10 new cases each day. Since itsestablishment in 1988 the company has been steadfast in its effortsto finance research endeavors and implement programs aimed atassisting children and their families throughout their cancerbattles.

    Working within the Individual Givingteam your role is to manage and support the delivery ofsupportercentric fundraising appeals which will recruit retain ordevelop supporters. These appeals will include utilising online andoffline channels such as organic and paid social advertising SMSemail private sites direct mail andtelemarketing.

    Location: LondonUK.

    Tasks

    1. Create plandeliver and evaluate multichannel compliant insightledsupportercentric campaigns to enable us to deliver both individualappeal goals as well as/in line with wider organisational goals.Campaigns could include:
    Acquisition through digital(paid social advertising) and private sites.
    Developmentand retention through direct mail email SMS andtelemarketing.
    Campaign asks could range from gaming tocauserelated asks for a oneoff or regular gift.

    2. Deliver fundraising projects and campaigns toschedule to budget and to a high standard.

    3.Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and liaise withexternal agencies and suppliers to effectively deliver projects andcampaigns.
    This includes:
    Being aware andrespectful of different processes timeframes and ways ofworking.
    Being proactive with timely and relevant updatesor communications.
    Being open to feedback and the use ofdifferent tools to support project progressionor
    communications.
    Internal teams could includeSupporter Care Data Digital/Communications Research andFinance.

    External partners could include agenciesproviding media creative and/or channelspecific fundraisingservices.

    4. Regularly review communicate anddocument key performance indicators across your
    campaignsand keep key stakeholders updated. Ensure you provide commentary toaccompany results reporting drawing on insights and the widerpicture to add context and make recommendations from yourlearnings.

    5. Accurately record process andreconcile expenditure to ensure value for money and account forfinancial resources.

    6. Other duties:
    Supporting other IG colleagues in campaign delivery (e.g. laserproofing ideation and proofreading) or other tasks/projects wherenecessary (e.g. fulfilment stock management or crossteam ways ofworking).
    Shared responsibility to ensure all relevantprocesses and opportunities for improvement are shared.
    Help supporterfacing teams during busy periods.
    Volunteerat events when required (e.g. London Marathon).
    Undertakeany other duties that are relevant to the job as requested by yourlinemanager.

    Requirements

    1. Marketingor direct marketing or marketing qualification.
    2. Previous direct marketing or transferrableexperience. This should include project
      managing orassisting a project manager to plan and deliver activity andevaluate results.
    3. Familiarity with directmarketing methods to recruit retain and develop supporters.
    4. Able to create and tailor engaging and emotivecopy for a range of differentchannels.
    5. Managing supplierrelationships.
    6. Working knowledge of supporterdatabases.
