The charity's UK team is looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join as Finance Manager. This is an exciting and varied role working across the organisation on financial and operational projects. It is a key role in helping the charity runsmoothly in the UK and across the global network.

To support the CFOO to improve and standardise service levels to budget holders, the Chief Executive, and trustees


Description

The successful finanace manager will be expected to:

  • To manage charity's budget, prepare financial reports and ensure that all financial transactions and the organisation's accountancy and policies are compliant with Charity and Company Law;
  • To support the CFOO to develop, deliver and improve finance services, systems and tools for internal financial control and accountability, in line with standards set by the HI Federation, including through digitalisation.
  • Work with the fundraising teams to reconcile fundraising/funding and finance data
- support the staff in managing their budgets

  • Work closely with the CFOO and Office Manager to manage payroll and other salary requirements, including PAYE and HRMC requirements
  • Ensure internal controls on payroll, taxes and social contributions

Profile

The successful Fnance Manager will:

  • Have UK finance knowledge
  • Be studying towards or have a degree in finance
- knowledge of financial statements, reconciliations

  • Highly proficient in excel
  • V look up & Pivot tables
