- To be responsible for carrying out specialised radiographic imaging to a high standard and in a professional manner, working to departmental guidelines whilst being accountable for own actions.

- To independently undertake diagnostic radiology procedures maintaining high professional standards of technical competence and ensuring standards of essence of care at all times.
- To undertake a full range of imaging procedures to maintain knowledge and be fully aware of the safety aspects and hazards, and related emergency procedures.

The Diagnostic Imaging service based across 2 sites, Lewisham and Queen Elizabeth, provides an essential service to the Trust and includes 4 GE CT scanners (3 Revolutions & 1 Rev Evo).
We are seeking experienced Band 7 CT/General Radiographers, with minimum of 2 years cross sectional experience to join our team at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, we have vacancies on both sites.

This role will give the individual the opportunity to build on and extend their clinical expertise and also develop management, training and leadership skills. Education and training are key elements of the department and therefore role extension and further learning is encouraged. Flexibility and innovation are also fundamental to this role and strong communication skills are essential.
