    Broker Technician£45,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + BenefitsLondon / Hybrid Working

    The Company

    Our Client, is a well-established, market leading and international Lloyd's Broker, with a solid reputation in the London Market. They provide innovative insurance and reinsurance solutions to their valued Clients and Retail Brokers and pride themselves on delivering an exceptional level of service.

    Your new Company now have an exciting position, as a Broker Technician, that is a front end technical role, where you will be supporting and working collaboratively with the Brokers across the Professional Indemnity, Financial Institutions, Directors and Officers, Cyber, Management Liability and Errors and Omissions Divisions.

    The Role

    • Responsible for providing first class support to Brokers, Underwriters and Clients
    • Producing timely and accurate market and contract documentation including MRC Slips, endorsements, certificates, Wordings Underwriter submissions and endorsements
    • Working collaboratively with Brokers to review and support the renewals process
    • Responsible for dealing with Clients and Retail Brokers
    • Undertaking light Broking duties
    • Providing coaching and support to other team members of the Front-End Technical division
    • Working closely with the Manager to assist in the monitoring and managing of workload demands
    • Assisting other Divisions when required due to increased work load to ensure Clients receive a high end service
    • Working closely with the Operations and Compliance team to ensure prompt and thorough execution to any areas of concern


    Requirements

    • 4 years + experience within a technical role for a Lloyd's accredited Broker
    • Impeccable technical knowledge of both placement and coverage
    • Competent in creating MRC slips and Endorsements
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to adapt to ever changing situations and flexibility in supporting other divisions
    • Accurate attention to detail and extensive organisation skills
    • Advanced IT skills including Crystal, PPL and Lloyds QA
    • CII preferred but not essential
