    Description

    Who will you be working with?nOur Doncaster team supports our customers through maintenance and operation optimisation with customised solutions for spare parts, repair and, overhaul activities on existing trains.

    Monday to Thursday, 08:00am to 16:30pm, and Friday 08:00am to 13:00pmnContract Type:


    Permanent, Full-TimenAnnual Leave:
    25 days plus bank holidays (plus 8 bank holidays)


    How will you make a difference?nTo provide mechanical engineering expertise to engineering and project teams delivering rail vehicle enhancement projects and component overhaul services.nWhat will your typical day look like?nProduce designs, including but not limited to, design layouts, engineering drawings, and schematics.nReview engineering drawings and documents.nProvide risk evaluation, assessment, and mitigation evidence for mechanical safety hazards.nSupport investigations into failures of mechanical systems and components, determine root cause, and present findings.nDetermine and submit cost estimates for undertaking in-house and bought-in engineering services.nInterface with external and internal customers on engineering project progress and issues.


    What do we want to know about you?nDegree in Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent).nExperience working in design or commissioning and maintenance of mechanical systems or components.nExperience in the specification, design, testing, maintenance, and failure investigation of mechanical systems and components.nExperience in the use of Mechanical CAD systems.
