Care Lead vacancy in Clevedon, Somerset. Recruiting for a small sized care provider, who are a family run care company. Must have general experience within care homes.

Ideally looking for someone who is currently a care supervisor or team leader,who is looking for their next venture with a growing organisation, or someone who is currently a senior care worker who is looking for their next step up into a leadership role.

This is the opportunity to work for a well supported, care provider. A mediumsized residential service for the elderly with dementia.

Key Responsibilities of a Care Lead:

  • To manage a team of Carers and work closely with the deputy home manager
  • Deciding and initiating action
  • To maintain skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from timetotime be required to maintain that currency of practice
  • Responsible for clinical outcomes, quality of assessments, care planning, implementation and evaluation of care staff training issues to ensure that residents have an excellent standard of care at all times.

Care Lead Requirements:


  • Experience in care is essential
  • Genuine passion for ensuring quality of care for residents
  • Previous track record working within residential care companies
  • NVQ level 2/3 is required
  • Flexibility to work shifts and potentially cover in the absence of other employees
