    Description

    Accelerant is seeking a Platform Experience Manager to join our fast-growing global team. This is a remote role and can be located in the UK, US, or Canada.

    As a Platform Experience Manager at Accelerant, you will be responsible for supporting the overall strategic direction and vision for the Accelerant platform, which is key to our mission of re-platforming insurance in a way that is more fair, transparent, and efficient. The Platform Experience Team is responsible for making our Members' experience as valuable as possible while developing new products and services to fuel their growth.

    If you join our team, here are some of the things you'll do:

    • Optimize the experience of platform participants with a deep understanding of our Members, capital partners, and internal users to ensure that Accelerant delivers the right capabilities at the right time.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to recommend actionable insights.
    • Negotiate discounts on behalf of our membership with best-in-class software companies, service providers, and data vendors to deliver savings to our Members.
    • Work directly with Members, Member Managers, and partners to understand their business challenges and translate those into future member services and perform early and ongoing validation of our ideas.
    • Collaborate throughout Accelerant to define and deliver commercially successful products and services that advance our strategy and increase organizational value.
    • Establish and foster a culture of customer-focused innovation, including a consistent and thorough process to understand customer needs.

    What you bring to the table:

    • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to work closely with experts across domains, understand their needs, and translate them into new products/services.
    • Ability to build strong user-centered customer experiences.
    • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
    • Experience working with and managing geographically distributed teams.
    • Demonstrated success working with C-level executives.
    • A big-picture perspective with a passion for excellence and willingness to dive into the details necessary to achieve it.
    • Able to drive an idea from whiteboard to active delivery.
    • Able to work with and gain the trust and support of individuals throughout the organization.
    • Willing and able to travel – including internationally.

    Desired qualifications:

    • At least 4 years experience, preferably in a B2B market, as well as experience in insurance, fintech, or similar highly regulated industries.
    • A proven history of success in new product/service development, operationally driving an idea from concept to operational stage.
    • Experience evaluating and negotiating third-party vendor agreements.
