    Description

    Quality Assurance (Engineer) / Norwich / Permanent – Salary ( £22,000 - £32,000 )depending on the experience.

    Position 1 Recruitment are looking for Quality Assurance to join our client, engineering manufacturing. Due to the ongoing growth, they are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance to join their friendly team.

    Quality Assurance will work within the Quality Health Safety and Environment Department, to ensure project quality requirements are met, and company complies with relevant regulatory standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    ·Undertake both internal and external QHSE audits.

    ·Take a lead role in customer and certification audits and to flow down all relevant contract requirements.

    ·Provide a high level of quality support to the project teams.

    ·Take an active role in the company continuous improvement activities.

    ·Participate in ensuring company procedures are kept up to date.

    ·Undertake inspection of purchased products at the supplier's premises.

    ·Check, clear and collate internal and supplier product records for the compilation of contract data dossiers.

    ·Conduct investigations of quality issues arising within the business.

    ·Support purchasing department in their dealings with suppliers. This will include site visits in the UK and potentially worldwide.

    ·Participate in ensuring the machines made in other group factories meets the company's quality system.

    ·Arrange training for personal protective equipment and QHSE.

    ·Support Project Management with the production of Manufacturing Inspection Test Plans and customer QHSE specification and commitments.

    Successful candidate for Quality Assurance role will have prior experience in a quality control position within an engineering environment. Also have experience with internal and external QHSE audits, along with a strong grasp of engineering drawings and manufacturing methods.

    Required qualifications for this role include recognised Engineering certifications and ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 Certified Auditor qualifications. Additionally, proficiency in MS Word and Excel would be highly valued.

    This is a permanent, full-time role Monday to Friday with early finish on Friday, 37.5hrs per week, with benefits on offer like: enhanced pension, Life Assurance, and 25 days holiday plus BH, as well as free on-site car park.
