    Contract: Permanent
    Hourly rate plus shift allowance. (Negotiable depending on experience)
    Hours: 37-hour week
    Location: Glasgow
    Job Summary:
    We are delighted to be working in partnership with our client who is a leading precision engineering company known for its commitment to quality and excellence. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC 5 Axis and Mill Turn skilled professionals to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for precision machining and a desire to work with cutting-edge equipment.
    Key Responsibilities:

    • Set up, program, and operate CNC 5 Axis and Mill Turn machines to produce high-precision components.
    • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
    • Monitor machine performance, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
    • Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure their optimal functioning.
    • Inspect finished products to meet the required quality standards.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues to minimize downtime.
    • Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
    • Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
    Requirements:
    • Proven experience in CNC machining, specifically with 5 Axis and Mill Turn machines.
    • Proficiency in machine programming and operation.
    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
    • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
    • Knowledge of machine maintenance and care.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • A strong work ethic and a desire to continuously improve skills and knowledge in CNC machining.
