Here at i3 works we have a new and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic consultant to come and join our IT Service Management team.

The role of the ITSM team is to provide value to customers through a set of specialised organisational capabilities in the form of services.

It is a customer focussed approach to delivering IT Services, ensuring operational service levels are achieved in agreement with customers and that services and solutions run smoothly and adhere to appropriate SLAs.

Role Summary:


The ITSM consultant will be responsible for working alongside our clients and partners to provide knowledge and experience from across the service lifecycle whether that be transitioning or maintaining live services.


You will work with Customers, Projects, 3rd Parties and key stakeholders, ensuring that the client's requirements are understood and fulfilled.

Using knowledge of ITSM best practice you will work with our clients to create or improve processes and procedures, ensuring these add value to the client's business.


Core Skills:

You will be providing consultancy support to clients around IT Service Management processes.

The below responsibilities are not exhaustive, it is a list of chosen responsibilities which you will need to demonstrate:


  • ITIL Foundation qualified V3 or above
  • Experience implementing ITIL based practices (Incident, Problem etc)
  • Demonstrable experience working within an ITSM environment using the ITIL framework
  • Knowledge of ITSM governance, e.g. Change Advisory Boards (CABs)
  • Demonstrable experience with ITSM tooling
  • Experience delivering Continual Service Improvement
  • Understanding of customer management / service experience
  • Must have excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentational), showing tact, effective listening skills and present and defend points of view to a variety of audiences
  • Good organisational skills plus the ability to motivate people across an organisation to provide solutions
  • Ability to travel to client sites

Desirable:


  • Demonstrate an understanding in producing comprehensive Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual service reports via ITSM tooling or Business Intelligence reporting
  • Defence or Public Sector experience
  • A recognised Project Management Qualification
