    Architectural Technician Job in Sevenoaks, Kent


    Hunter Dunning Recruitment is currently seeking candidates for an Architectural Technician job opportunity at our client's employee-owned firm in Sevenoaks.

    This role offers a unique chance to join a multidisciplinary team, working on a variety of projects spanning residential, healthcare, education, commercial, leisure, and more.


    Based across two offices with over twenty members of staff this employee owned multidisciplinary practice offers a range of services including Architectural, building surveying and project management.

    Current projects include large- and small-scale residential development and healthcare projects.

    Due continued success they are now seeking an Architectural Technician to join the team.

    Role & Responsibilities

    Work on the production of technical drawing packages
    Budget estimates. Specify materials and products, write work descriptions, and prepare preliminary documents
    Design presentation materials like boards and layouts
    Ensure compliance with building regulations, NHBC guidelines, and other relevant laws
    Assess risks and create Health and Safety Plans according to regulations
    Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with drawings and issue instructions as needed
    Organize drawings properly and back up computer files monthly
    Measure existing buildings on-site as required for projects.
    Required Skills & Experience

    Possess a minimum of 3 years in practice experience
    Skilled in the use of Auto-CAD
    Current knowledge of UK regulations
    Experience in UK based residential, commercial, or healthcare projects.
    What you get back

    Salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience
    Part time working would be considered
