- Prepare cost and price build-up analysis using data in the MRP and cost models.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure aspects of projects are compatible.
- Liaise with operations for lead time estimations and production updates.
- Coordinate internal business resources and third parties for execution of projects.
- Lead and direct the work of other project team members to ensure success.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget and scope.
- Coordinate resource and availability allocation.
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
- Manage changes to the project scope, schedule and costs using verifications.
- Measure performance using project management tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Manage the relationship with clients and relevant stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimise project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Delegate appropriate project tasks effectively based on the team's SKE levels.
- Track project performance to analyse success with short and long-term goals.
- Meet budgetary objectives and adjust constraints based on financial analysis.
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients/team members.
- Use and continually develop leadership and management skills.
- S&M general admin to cover other team members when necessary.
- Relevant experience in Engineering discipline (mechanical/electro-optics).
- Proven track record in project management within Engineering.
- Experience with project management software tools.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / Prince 2 certification is desirable.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail.
