- Help shape and execute the content strategy that includes blogs, white-papers, case studies, and video content tailored for a technical audience.
- Build, manage, and grow a technical community through various digital platforms.
- Identify and engage with key influencers, thought leaders, and stakeholders within the community.
- Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging knowledge sharing, discussion, and feedback among community members.
- Collaborate with product teams, technical experts, and external contributors to produce high-quality, relevant, and engaging content.
- Manage content calendars, ensuring timely publication and alignment with overall marketing and business objectives.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to create compelling and engaging content for a technical audience.
- Help plan, organise, and execute virtual and in-person events and meetups to engage the community and promote our products and services.
- Work closely with the CEO and COO on managing and coordinating podcast content, guest pipeline and content distribution.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution and maximum impact of each event.
- Track and analyse the event and digital performance to optimise and improve community engagement.
- Leverage SEO, social media, and email marketing to enhance community engagement and attract new members.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on community engagement metrics and KPIs, adjusting strategies as necessary to improve results.
- Stay abreast of the latest digital marketing trends and technologies, continuously innovating and optimising our approach to community management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, sales, and customer support to align community initiatives with business goals.
- Gather community feedback and provide insights to internal teams to help shape product development and marketing strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in or similar in Computer Science or experience in a technical engineering role.
- Some experience in community management, digital marketing, or equivalent.
- Understanding of the latest digital marketing tools and platforms, including SEO, social media, and content management systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce engaging and compelling content for a technical audience.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track and interpret community engagement metrics.
- Passionate about technology and staying updated with the latest industry trends and innovations.

The Role
To support our ambitious growth targets and brand's market presence, we are seeking a dynamic, driven and engaging Technical Community Manager to join our revenue team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and managing our technical community through strategic digital marketing content and events. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, content creation skills, creativity and community engagement to drive brand awareness, product adoption, and customer loyalty.
You will come from a technical background and have a passion for Cloud, DevOps and Development technologies with an inquisitive mind. You will enjoy engaging with the wider community, growing both Appvia's and your own personal brand, and have a keen interest in marketing, sales or similar roles.
This is a great opportunity for someone willing to be invested in, upskilled and mentored in the role.
