    Location: London, UK

    About Us

At Appvia, we're committed to helping our customers navigate their journey to Cloud and DevOps maturity. As a leading provider in the industry, we offer cutting-edge technologies and services to support our clients' cloud adoption journey.

Our mission is to enable every company to deliver apps in the cloud. We dedicate ourselves to building a cloud infrastructure layer that allows platform engineering teams to manage, monitor and update with ease - at the same time, offering devs the flexibility to deploy their apps in the cloud without a hassle. We are passionate about driving value to our clients and have a desire to make their organisation succeed.

    The Role

To support our ambitious growth targets and brand's market presence, we are seeking a dynamic, driven and engaging Technical Community Manager to join our revenue team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and managing our technical community through strategic digital marketing content and events. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, content creation skills, creativity and community engagement to drive brand awareness, product adoption, and customer loyalty.

You will come from a technical background and have a passion for Cloud, DevOps and Development technologies with an inquisitive mind. You will enjoy engaging with the wider community, growing both Appvia's and your own personal brand, and have a keen interest in marketing, sales or similar roles.

This is a great opportunity for someone willing to be invested in, upskilled and mentored in the role.

    Interview process - 3 stage

    • Initial conversation with our Talent Acquisition Manager
    • Interview with the Hiring Manager
    • Leadership Final Interview

    Requirements

    Key Responsibilities:

Building the Technical community with engaging content:

    • Manage content calendars, ensuring timely publication and alignment with overall marketing and business objectives.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to create compelling and engaging content for a technical audience.

Community events, meet-ups and digital platforms:

    • Help plan, organise, and execute virtual and in-person events and meetups to engage the community and promote our products and services.
    • Work closely with the CEO and COO on managing and coordinating podcast content, guest pipeline and content distribution.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution and maximum impact of each event.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, sales, and customer support to align community initiatives with business goals.
    • Gather community feedback and provide insights to internal teams to help shape product development and marketing strategies.

    • Some experience in community management, digital marketing, or equivalent.
    • Understanding of the latest digital marketing tools and platforms, including SEO, social media, and content management systems.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce engaging and compelling content for a technical audience.
