- Engage regularly with all commercial aspects of the business and provide comprehensive, proactive, and value-added finance support and guidance to other Functions within the business.
- Support the preparation of monthly/annual (consolidated) management accounts for all entities, including those in the UK, USA, Brazil, South Africa, Australia, and Europe.
- Business performance reporting, including costing analysis.
- Assist in compilation of budgets and forecasts: analyse and review expenditure and cashflows.
- Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure the group adheres to current accounting technical standards, provision of technical accounting opinions and hands-on approach in resolving accounting queries.
- Ensure on-time delivery of finance deliverables
- Support to the statutory audit, preparation, and submission of all audit deliverables on time and interaction with external auditors
- Prepare and submit regulatory returns, such as grant claims and VAT.
- Support and guidance to the Finance transactional teams.
- Proactively identifying and implementing business and finance improvements and ensuring adherence to effective internal controls.
- Big 4 experience
- Qualification in accounting CIMA/ACA/ACCA
- Highly proficient MS Office experience, especially excel
- Practical technical knowledge of financial reporting standards
