An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join Therapy Services in the post of Receptionist at Homerton Hospital and Sir Ludwig Gutman to deliver excellent service to our patients and a smooth and efficient support to our clinical team.
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic individual to work within our fast-paced service.Applicants should be able to demonstrate evidence of their organisational skills, be a committed team player with the ability to priorities their own workload, and work well under pressure.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential with the role requiring high level of computer based skills. The successful applicant must be flexible, adaptable, and have a willingness to embrace change as and when required. The ability to use initiative when dealing with unexpected situations is also an advantage. Role will be cross-site and the successful applicant will be expected to cover Homerton and Sir Ludwig GutmanKey duties include:
- To be the first point of call for patients and staff member when entering the department, contributing to the overall efficient and effective running of designated outpatient clinics.
- To work closely with Supervisor, APP'S, Physiotherapist, Speech and Language therapist and Dietitians to ensure that any issues in clinic are raised immediately to maintain an excellent level of service to patients.
- To manage the booking of designated new & follow up clinics and ensure that these are booked efficiently and that any booking issues are raised immediately with supervisor/Service Manager and clinicians to ensure patient care is not compromised.
