    Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31st March 2025

    Working Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday- Friday)

    Worker Type: Hybrid

    Salary: £26,421 - £28,770 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

    About the Role

    The post holder will use their knowledge of Child Development and the Early Years Foundation
    stage profile to deliver a range of hub based and community activities across Nottingham City to
    improve outcomes for children, young people and families as part of an integrated children's
    service, ensuring children and their family receive the right support at the right time.

    We are looking to recruit 5 Full Time Early Help Start For Life workers based on a fixed term contract until 31st March 2025.

    About You

    The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working with vulnerable children, young people and adults, from a variety of backgrounds, in an outcome
    focused way.
  • Be willing to work across the Family Hubs and Early Help Teams as required to meet the needs of the service, including delivery in venues
    Citywide.
  • A good knowledge of 1001 critical days of baby brain development, including the importance of secure attachment
    and bonding.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policy and applying legislation and policy and procedure to practice
  • A good knowledge and understanding of child development,
    the EYFS framework and the needs of children, young people, and families
  • A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
