    Description

    Located in the Cotswold, Cowley Manor is one of the most famous buildings in the country. The luxury boutique hotel is composed of 31 rooms, a bar and a restaurant along with an incredible terrace, fantastic grounds and a stunning C-Side Spa.

    Reports to: Head Chef

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Set-up the kitchen prior to the restaurant's
      opening.
    • Assist with food preparation.
    • Support the kitchen team by taking over a section.
    • Maintain a high level of food quality and
      production with the aim of exceeding our guest's expectations.
    • Wrap unused items and store them in proper areas
      at the end of a shift.
    • Clean and sanitize the kitchen and its areas
      before the restaurant closes.
    • Adhere to quality, hygiene, and
      cleanliness standards.
    • Apply all Health & Safety and
      food quality regulations.
    • Communicate with the Head Chef when
      maintenance/ repairs are needed for the kitchen equipment.
    • Stay up to date with culinary trends
      and kitchen processes.
    • Support the Head Chef in designing and creating
      menus of small plates and dishes that fit the vibe and aesthetic of the restaurant.

    • Experience in a similar role.
    • Have a strong team spirit.
    • Attention to details and customer
      needs.
    • Good organisational and leadership
      skills.
    • Flexibility to respond quickly and
      positively to a range of work situations.
    • Be well spoken with excellent
      communication skills.
    • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
