Description
Job SummaryManages assigned customer accounts, and supports and manages sales activities via OEC's Collision parts program. Maintains relationships, overseeing the sales process, and acting as a point of contact for allocated customers.
Secures commitments from repairers to engage in the program, which supports various Vehicle Manufacturers in the sale of genuine parts.
Maintains working knowledge of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts catalogues, as well as other industry intelligence.Key Responsibilities
Establishes rapport and maintains relationships with Collison repair parts and/or service personnel (typically a parts manager) through phone and email contact within assigned accounts.
Educates repairers and dealers contact(s) about the PartsBrokerDirect service and benefits.Instills a sense of urgency to use the service leveraging increased revenues for the dealership through utilization of OEC systems and brokering personnel.
Ensures consistent communication with customers to increase revenues through strong relationships, implementing best practices, analyzing data to identify areas of need, and recognizing opportunities for performance coaching.
Maintains a working knowledge of industry programs and knowhow to overcome objections and reinforce the value proposition of the brokering service.
Utilizes OEC's customer database to maintain complete call records and to validate customer and account information.Manages sales within a territory and supports the team to best impact its overall performance, under the guidance of more senior brokers on the team.
Secures commitment from dealership contacts to enroll in OEC's systems/program.Sets expectations with secured clients and facilitates a smooth transition throughout the process starting from enrollment (assuring proper systems) through to hand-off to designated broker (assuring representative is designated).
Participates in additional call campaigns as required for the PartsBrokerDirect business; some assignments may include customer service, training and/or marketing-related calls.
Increases overall parts sales with PartsBrokerDirect through repairer and dealer engagement.Experience, Skills and Key Competencies
An associate degree from an accredited college or university is required. In the absence of a degree, equivalent work experience directly related to the key responsibilities of the role.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage in productive customer interactions.
Ability to use a computer customer database and Microsoft office software applications.
Ability to apply fundamental principles and concepts of the position, to be effective in the role.
