Project Support & Quality Technician

Position: Full Time / 8:30 17:00

The Opportunity

As part of our ongoing expansion, the opportunity has arisen to join our team in Daventry Northamptonshire. Working as a key part of the in-house team, this role will be to assist the team with quality control, coordinating projects, exhibitions, assembly and product testing.

The Person

We are looking for someone who is technically minded that takes a hands on approach to work, can coordinate projects and solve problems. Any experience with CAD, metal fabrication and installations would be an advantage, but not mandatory.

Training will be given on all aspects of the job.

Key Duties

Quality control
Coordinating projects (including dvLED)
Product testing
Preparing, setting up and breaking down displays & stands at exhibitions in the UK and abroad (approximately 3 exhibitions abroad and 5 in the UK per year)
Inventory management of marketing / exhibition equipment
General workshop duties such as using a band saw, circular saw and pillar drill etc
Provide support / help to colleagues and customers
Assembling products
Liaising with suppliers
Setting up and maintenance of showrooms
Ad hoc general site maintenance

Essential Requirements

Technically minded and practical thinking
Attention to detail
Good team working and communication skills written and verbal
Self-motivated, confident, enthusiastic, organised multi-tasker with project management skills that enjoys a varied workload
Competent using PCs and Windows
Must be able to lift a 25kg weight to chest height (for product testing)
Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
