An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dynamic admin support to join the vaccination team.

We are looking for a person who has a desire to work in the community with relevant transferrable skills to join the vaccination team in the delivery of the COVID 19 and the annual Flu Campaign to staff/patients.

The post holder will provide a comprehensive and high quality administrative support to the Vaccination service.


The post holder will take responsibility for booking clinics, processing new referrals, updating waiting lists and communicating appointment related information to patients/carers.

The post holder will be required to type letters and fill out protocols using IT clinical platforms i.e. SystemOne.

Be able to input data and use Excel

Support temporary staff and support day to day running of the office.

Be able to input data and use Excel

Support temporary staff and support day to day running of the office.

To collect, process, distribute incoming mail.

General photocopying, faxing, scanning and filing of confidential and non-confidential information.


To utilise the relevant IT systems to enter and retrieve data ensuring all details are accurately recorded in a timely manner - using Excel and SystemOne.

Maintain and manage departmental filing systems including electronic.

To maintain health records as required and according to protocols. Book clinics and appointments and manage cancellations or amendments in a timely manner.


Work closely with relevant departments to ensure that notes are prepared and available and that necessary clinical information has been obtained in time for clinics, where appropriate.

Organise and maintain notice boards with relevant and updated information and coordinate the departmental learning resources.


To enter data, contribute to the collation and presentation of information for statistical reports and audits in a timely manner using Excel.

Create and maintain tables and spreadsheets to record and present information.

Use SystemOne for letters including other documents within agreed time scales and to agreed standards.
