    Job summary

    We are lookingto recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated Band 5 or above nurse depending onexperience and skills, to join our vibrant team at Little London Surgery. We are a busy Training Practice with 4Partners, Practice Nurse lead, 2 practice nurses, 1 Healthcare Assistants and 3Registrars .

    • Main duties of the job

    It is essential you have experience in a Primary Care setting and the following skills:

  • Venepuncture
  • B12 administration
  • Flu/pneumonia/shingles administration
  • Prostap
  • Zoladex
  • Depo provera
  • Contraceptive checks
  • Suture/clip removal
  • Blood pressure management
  • Good knowledge of general wound care
  • Chronic Disease management Diabetes, asthma, COPD
  • Ability to work in a busy team, working independently and collectively within the team, with good communication skills.
  • Childhood Immunisations
  • Travel Immunisations
  • Cervical Cytology
  • ECG Tracing
  • Ear irrigation
  • IT Skills

    Little London Surgery is a privately owned building in the heart of Walsall not far from the town centre. We are part of South 1 PCN. We have approximately 23 staff in total all of whom have worked at Little London Surgery for many years. We are looking for a new nursing team member who will fit in with our team bringing a smile and energy with them to face and embrace the daily challenges.
