and adherence to health and safety standards. - Running busy sections, cooking food to Rockwater specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes to maintain high quality and consistency.
- Provide guidance and training to kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion control and
presentation standards. - Lead and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Ensure that all dishes meet the required standard in terms of taste, appearance and portion size.
- Monitor and address guest feedback, working with the Senior Chefs to make necessary adjustments.
- Work closely with the Senior Chefs to implement cost control measures, such as portion control and
waste reduction. - Collaborate with all departments within Rockwater to ensure smooth overall operations.
- Compliance with legal requirements under the Health & Safety Act 1974 and food hygiene.
- Training of new chefs and kitchen porters. The Ideal Candidate
- At least 1 years experience as a Junior Sous Chef or Kitchen Supervisor in a premium high volume venue.
