    Description

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate of at least 8 years PQE is required for a Private Wealth opportunity for a firm close to Peterborough.

    Solicitors from 6 years PQE will be considered or much more senior solicitors will be considered and have a good presence around this location.

    You will have good experience of complex Wills, probate, LPAs and Trusts/estate work. You will ideally be STEP qualified/working towards STEP.

    You will have the opportunity to develop your expertise by working on a varied mix of wealth preservation matters, with support from the partners. In addition to complex matters concerning Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) and Probate, our team also give specialist advice on inheritance tax, tax planning and trust/estate management.

    You will have:

    • gained your experience in a wealth preservation department in a reputable commercial law firm;
    • excellent organisation and administration skills,
    • be self-motivated, able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines whilst remaining resilient under pressure and competing demands;
    • great attention to detail and excellent drafting and communication skills;
    • an enthusiasm for building excellent working relationships with colleagues across the firm's three locations;
    • a desire to develop their business development skills including a willingness to attend events and network with clients;
    • a strong belief in delivering excellent client service.
