Our client, an engineering firm based in Bromsgrove
, is looking for an Administration and Facilities Officer to join their team on a temporary to permanent contract.


The position is due to start immediately on a part-timebasis, working Wednesday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm, and is paying £12-13ph PAYE, inclusive of holiday pay, with £21,000 as the permanent salary.


Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Overseeing and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the office, including managing and ordering office supplies and dealing with suppliers
  • Undertaking general administrative duties such as directing phone calls, receiving visitors and managing diaries
  • Arranging and monitoring health and safety systems, such as fire alarm testing, emergency lighting service, fire extinguisher service, PAT Testing
  • Liaising with suppliers, such as telephone and utility companies
  • Acting as the fire warden for the office

Experience required:


  • Must have some health and safety training or experience
  • Proficient at using Microsoft Office packages

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:


  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong attention to detail

Working hours:


  • 21.5 hours per week


  • Wednesday

  • Friday 9.00am5.00pm
