Our client, an engineering firm based in Bromsgrove
, is looking for an Administration and Facilities Officer to join their team on a temporary to permanent contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a part-timebasis, working Wednesday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm, and is paying £12-13ph PAYE, inclusive of holiday pay, with £21,000 as the permanent salary.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Overseeing and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the office, including managing and ordering office supplies and dealing with suppliers
- Undertaking general administrative duties such as directing phone calls, receiving visitors and managing diaries
- Arranging and monitoring health and safety systems, such as fire alarm testing, emergency lighting service, fire extinguisher service, PAT Testing
- Liaising with suppliers, such as telephone and utility companies
- Acting as the fire warden for the office
Experience required:
- Must have some health and safety training or experience
- Proficient at using Microsoft Office packages
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong attention to detail
Working hours:
- 21.5 hours per week
- Wednesday
- Friday 9.00am5.00pm
