- Create & Manage user accounts across BAU systems, spanning finance to production systems.
- Manage incoming requests, liaising with end-users and IT suppliers.
- Provide end-user support at all levels, locally and remotely.
- Maintain and manage local video conference systems and other end-user equipment.
- Undertake computer builds, support, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues within core systems.
- Assist with mobile and tablet setup, project rollouts, and troubleshooting.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical role.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- Ability to self-manage and prioritize workload effectively.
- Experience in both local and remote support.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Windows 10 & 11.
- Familiarity with mobile device management, especially Apple products.
- Experience in a managed service desk environment.
- Valid UK driving license.
- Experience working within a Group IT Team.
- Familiarity with Access Workspace products (Focal Point & Dimensions).
- Office 365 client-side experience.
- Knowledge of asset management procedures.
- ITIL Foundation v4 certification.
- Microsoft Certification(s) or equivalent.
- Network troubleshooting skills, including Wi-Fi and LAN.

A rare and exciting opportunity has become available for an IT Support Engineer to join our team in Dalton, North Yorkshire.
Severfield seeks an experienced IT Support Engineer to join its Group IT Business Team (Tier 2) in Dalton, North Yorkshire. In this role, you will provide comprehensive IT and technical support to users across the group, both on-site and remotely. You'll serve as one of the first point of contacts for BAU systems and contribute to continuous improvement projects, ensuring the smooth operation of IT services across the organization.

This role requires flexibility, with a minimum of three days based in the office and up to two remote working days per week. Office hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 5:15 pm, and Friday, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.
