Description
An OFSTED Outstanding secondary school in Hackney, East London, is looking for a learning support assistant for a September start. The school embodies traditional values and expects a high standard of behaviour from their students. In return, this creates hard working, respectful students who go on to excel academically. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will predominantly be supporting students with special educational needs (SEN), both on a 1-1 basis and within a classroom setting. This will typically be within multiple different departments and classrooms throughout the day, so being proactive and easily adaptable are a must. As a learning support assistant, you will also be responsible for monitoring class behaviour, as well as supporting an individual child/small group of children. A desire to support young people is the most important thing for a Learning Support Assistant, but it would be beneficial to have some experience of working with secondary aged children Experience working with children/young people with SEN would also be beneficial.

Position: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
