A critical aspect of this new strategic direction is the development of the Project Management Team, which includes the expansion of the team's deliverables and responsibilities. Due to this expansion, Roche has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join the Project Management Team. Reporting into the Head of Programmes and Projects, the individual will be responsible for the delivery of projects within the Roche Diagnostics Portfolio.
Purpose
The successful candidate will provide oversight to projects, while managing key stakeholders, maintaining programme and project documentation and mitigating risks to ensure service continuity and smooth transition/handover to BAU. Interfacing directly with multiple internal and external stakeholders, the Project Manager will adopt Roche best practices (Waterfall, Agile and hybrid methodologies) to guarantee quality implementation and ensure projects stay on track to meet agreed deadlines. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction (internal and external) you will closely collaborate with all the
teams involved to ensure delivery and KPIs achievement.
A self-starter with exceptional stakeholder management skills, you should be capable of identifying unmet customer needs and developing effective solutions to address those needs. With the variety of approaches to waterfall, agile and hybrid delivery, you need to understand a number of tools and techniques, undertake workshop facilitation, provide coaching and motivate teams. You will be a creative problem solver, critical thinker and create collaborative relationships across the organisation.

● You will contribute to the development of the Project Portfolio and Change Management Community of Practice which will
enable the sharing of project management knowledge and the development of new knowledge and understanding across the
community.
● Experience in producing high-quality Project artifacts
● Experience in Requirements Gathering
Qualifications and Experience
● A project management professional with waterfall and agile project management techniques.
● Project Management accreditation is required (one of PMP, Prince 2, APM, etc)
● Strong Communicator, with experience of communicating with impact at multiple levels within an organisation, via multiple
channels.
● Organised, precise, used to hosting meetings, with soft negotiation skills.
● Proficient in all aspects of Risk Management
● Enjoys working with people and can resolve conflicts and prioritise accordingly.
● Independent Worker, who is able to manage their own time to deliver goals.
● Passionate about delivery and overcoming obstacles to achieve timelines.
● Demonstrates empathy, leads by example, enjoys project management and genuinely cares about their projects, their team
and organisation.
