a
Support Practitioner on a permanent part-time and full-time hours per week) basis.


The Role


Angus Court is a busy housing support and care at home service, as a
Support Practitioner no two days are ever the same; you'll be part of a fun, friendly team who supports seven individuals all with different support needs.

Your main aim will be supporting the individuals with their day to day needs which include shopping, finances, cooking, appointments, personal care and housework.


We're looking for you to be enthusiastic and creative about participating in and supporting them with their hobbies and interests which include socialising, bowling and going to discos.


About you
For these roles, we are ideally looking for individuals with experience in a caring and supportive role.

However, you'll receive robust training and have a helpful team behind you to support you every step of the way.

Keeping to routines and guidelines is incredibly vital, so we'll also need you to bring an understanding of the importance of this too.

We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 5/6) qualification too

  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Confidence in the use of computers

Shift Patterns


As we're dedicated to providing around the clock support tailored to the needs of each individual, shift patterns include early mornings, days, evenings, sleepovers, weekends and public holidays.

Our sleepovers are not included in your contracted hours, so you'll receive an additional sleepover payment of between
£84 per night for each sleepover worked
