Solotech are looking for a Service Administrator, the purpose of this role is to handle the daily administration of a busy service/repair workshop including in house and on-site service.

Your day will look like this:


  • Liaise with clients and the service manager in order to book scheduled and emergency site service visits.
  • Assist with the quoting of repairs when assessed by the service team, raising invoices for completed repairs and taking payment for repairs prior to despatch.
  • Assist with the spare parts stock control including sourcing parts, liaising with manufacturers regarding parts pricing information, raising purchase orders, maintaining stock records and ensuring stock levels are maintained.
  • Liaise with manufacturers and external service agents with respect to external repairs, ensuring that any external repairs are despatched with the correct paperwork.
  • Generating and submitting warranty approvals to manufacturers on a monthly basis and ensuring that invoices are raised following their approval.

Level of education:


  • 5 GCSE's A* C / or equivalent) or equivalent working experience

Work Experience:


  • Working knowledge of the proaudio industry or associated markets will be advantageous
  • Working in a similar role would be advantageous

Professional requirements:


  • Right to work and remain in the UK

Essential skills / experience:


  • Highly organised, with planning, decision making and problemsolving skills
  • Effective administration skills, together with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to use database software is essential
  • Flexibility and adaptability, capable of multitasking, while remaining calm under pressure
  • Ability to anticipate problems and find effective solutions aligned to the Company's policies procedures
  • Intuitive with the ability to work alone and take the lead when problems arise, or when tasks require completion
  • Able to adapt to fast paced working environment
