Description

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is capable of working with autism and wants the opportunity in a supported environment where you have the access to modern facilities allowing pupils to flourish.

You will be working 1:1 and in small groups, with 7 key stage 3 pupils who have ASD needs under the guidance of an experienced teacher.

The curriculum will be a mix of sensory learning, vocational learning, and a personalised curriculum for each pupil.


Job description:


  • Working with SEN pupils inside and outside the classroom environment.
  • Building personal and professional relationships with the pupils allowing them to feel safe and supported.
  • Communicating professionally with other staff members in order to facilitate the safeguarding, wellbeing and progress of the pupils.
  • Working in a KS3 classroom with 7 pupils who have ASD needs.


  • November start

  • Long Term & Full Time
- £75- £90 per day.

  • Located in the Ipswich area
  • School hours are 8:30 15:30 Monday to Friday
  • Flexible days: Parttime or Fulltime positions available
