    Description

    Langfields are the engineering partner of choice for the design and manufacture of high-integrity products for the hydrogen, renewable, nuclear, defence and other process industries.

    Providing technical solutions to help achieve a sustainable future, Langfields has multiple facilities spread throughout the UK including Salford, Dunfermline, Tamworth, Thurso, Halkirk, Warrington and Worksop.


    The ideal candidate will be experienced in various welding techniques, possess a keen attention to detail, and demonstrate a passion for producing high-quality work.

    This role presents an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects, contribute to the fabrication process, and collaborate with a skilled team of professionals.

    Perform welding operations using appropriate techniques and equipment to join metal components accurately.


    • Conduct visual inspections of welds to verify quality and integrity, making adjustments as necessary.
    • Collaborate closely with colleagues to optimize workflow and meet project deadlines effectively.
    Proven experience as a Welder, with expertise in various welding processes (e.g., Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and welding symbols.


    • Strong practical skills in using welding equipment and tools, including welding machines, torches, and grinders.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality welds with precision and accuracy.
    • Relevant qualifications or certifications in welding (e.g., Welding Certification, NVQ, City & Guilds) are advantageous but not essential.
    Competitive hourly rates with Overtime rates available.
