Our multi-company group provides quality, value for money maintenance, compliance and retrofit services across the south west, south east and midlands.
As Site Manager you are responsible for providing an excellent service that is safe, effective and efficient in the delivery of a variety of projects and programs across our varying contracts and ensuring that all works are delivered to the high-quality standards that our clients expect from us in an efficient and VFM manner.
As well as this you will be acting as the company's representation to our clients and their residents, providing effective and efficient communication between the client, residents and our internal project teams.
The Site Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships between Cardo and its clients by being open, honest, and transparent.
Supervise and manage onsite retrofit projects.Working closely with contractors and suppliers and making sure the project is finished within the allotted budget and timeframe.
Additionally, as a domestic retrofit site manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of energy-efficient measures and ensuring that the building meets sustainability standards.
Working with and too Building Control regulations and requirements as well as all other statutory and mandatory regulations/legislation and requirements including best practice.
Generate, review and achieve programme performance.Be organised and proficient in the use of various of ICT systems, regulations, and legislation to the entire building/construction industry as well as H&S and the landlord and tenants act.
Develop effective working relationships with residents, direct labour operatives, sub-contractors, clients, building control and the local fire authority.Carry out/support the customer liaison officers with resident consultation / engagement and to support the project team in pre-consultation and update meetings.
Convey accurate information both to residents and from residents to the project team.Take ownership and deal with customer/resident complaints through to completion and sharing lessons learnt with the project team and senior management team.
Control project execution plans and delivery structured updates to the client.Manage, review and monitor risk, program, plant, quality, cost.
Promote and follow good Project governance through the policies and procedures laid out by the Cardo Group.
Liaison with project Retrofit Co-Ordinator to ensure works as compliant.
Sound knowledge of the social housing sector inc planned works programmes and maintenance projects
Sound knowledge of the Construction industry
Experience of working in multiple refurbishment project settings/projects
Sound knowledge of section 20 leaseholder consultation and housing legislation
Experience of delivering successful outcomes to complaints
A valid SMSTS qualification = E
CSCS card in site management = E
NVQ level 6 in site management/construction = D
A recognised building/trade qualification = E
Asbestos Awareness Certification = E
Must hold current valid driving license = E
Recognised qualifications and or work experience regarding Fire Assessment surveying and remedial works = D
