    Biodiversity and Conservation Science Technical Officer - Herbarium DBCA PSCA, Level 3, $79,156 - $84,977 pro rata plus 11% Superannuation

    Job Description
    Under general guidance, plans and supervises the volunteer programs and related activities of the Western Australian Herbarium. Undertakes image management and collections curation.

    Selection Criteria
    Applicants should address the following four (4) criteria. These should be addressed in no more than three (3) pages in total.

  • Relevant experience and personal interest in planning, coordinating and supervising volunteer programs.

  • Well-developed leadership and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to motivate and encourage others.

  • Relevant experience with photography, scanning, and manipulation and management of digital images.

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to work as part of a diverse, multi-cultural team.

    • Applicants who meet selection criteria 1 and 3 to a high degree will be particularly well regarded.
