The Role
Business Resilience Lead is to act as the primary point of contact for the Resilience domain.


The role holder will be responsible for defining the requirements to support PRSfM's business operations and delivery of critical services.

They are also expected to support our managers services across Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Crisis Management. We're passionate on protecting our members, colleagues and the PRSfM brand. We would love someone who can excel in a changing security landscape


Cyber Security affects us the same as the next business, which is why we're looking for talented cyber professionals to help us secure our networks, systems, and people.

We've launched a comprehensive Cyber Security Programme, to increase our cyber security maturity, spanning multiple domains and activities.


The programme will deliver cyber security transformation and improvement consisting of control design, technology implementation, and broader cyber security activities to enable us to meet our ambitious business objectives and manage risk.


We have strong foundations upon which to improve our existing cyber security capabilities and are on a journey of improvement with a talented transformation team.

We are now looking for experienced cyber security professionals to define and drive cyber security implementation fit for a data driven and technology enabled organisation.

Salary c £60k


Responsibilities:


As our Business Continuity & Resileincr Lead you will be responsible for managing and leading a security pillar, with oversight on delivery of work and performance.

Youw ill need to demonstrate commitment to PRSfM core values through upholding our standard of business conduct and leading by example.

Some of your day to day duties will include.


Incident Response

  • Document and maintain incident response plans and guidelines including detailed response plans for various types of cybersecurity incidents (for example DDoS, ransomware, phishing etc).
  • Support the provision of Incident Response for PRS as required.

Business Continuity

  • Maintain Business Continuity Policies and Plans along with Continuity of Operations Plans.

Disaster Recovery

  • Prepare and maintain Disaster recovery plans and objectives based on ongoing discussion with the business teams.

Data Centre Operations and Backup**- Inputting to GRC Lead for risk management and compliance monitoring.

  • Collaborating with the Cybersecurity Data Governance Lead to implement and maintain data recovery solutions, providing security features such as air gap and containerisation to protect data in case of a disaster.

Crisis Management

  • Manage/liaise with a team of crisis response professionals ensuring maximum availability of incident response assets at any time.
  • Undertake crisis simulation exercises in line with the incident and crisis management plans.

About you:

  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in related technical area, preferably in a programming, cybersecurity, or computer science discipline.
  • One or more of the following certifications or equivalent: CISSP, CISM, GCIH, CEH, OSCP.
  • Knowledge of various SIEM Platforms, vulnerability management tools and incident management automation processes.
  • Experience in managing and leading a security pillar, with oversight on delivery, work and performance.
  • Experience in managing and leading teams a security function or SOC capability, with oversight on delivery and work and performance.
  • Experience in overseeing the triage and resolution of security alerts and events, working alongside other security and technology teams to collaborate and respond to security attacks/incident.
  • Experience in overseeing internal Cybersecurity risk assessments of PRSfM's mission critical information assets associated workflows, and/or systems storing, processing, or transmitting mission critical information.
  • Knowledge in the design and execution of incident response exercises and scenario testing (tabletop exercises).
  • Experience in analysing security monitoring data to identify and detect threats.
  • Experience in managing and dealing with executive leadership teams and external regulators.
