- Analyse project data to develop a comprehensive and accurate picture of project progress, costs, and quality.
- Create regular reports for project stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and deviations from the original plan.
- Use tools and techniques such as earned value analysis and risk management to inform decision-making.
- Identify, agree upon, and implement performance management techniques and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) specific to each project.
- Monitor project performance against established KPIs.
- Recommend appropriate corrective actions based on performance trends.
- Customised Reporting Templates: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to design customised reporting templates that align with the organisation's needs. These templates should capture critical project metrics, such as cost performance, schedule adherence, risk exposure, and quality assurance.
- Frequency and Distribution: Determine the frequency of reporting (weekly, monthly, etc.) and establish a clear distribution process. Ensure that reports reach the right audience promptly.
- Standardisation: Work towards standardising reporting formats across projects to facilitate easy comparison and trend analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company rules and regulations. As well as this you will support the growth of our Project Controls function both internally and externally in a Senior Capacity
