- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' wounds, including measurements, staging, and identification of underlying causes
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' unique needs and goals, utilizing evidence-based practices and the latest advancements in wound care technology
- Provide direct wound care interventions, including dressing changes, wound irrigation, debridement, and application of topical medications
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients, including consultations with surgeons, physical therapists, nutritionists, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and caregivers on proper wound care techniques, prevention strategies, and signs of complications
- Conduct regular evaluations of patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to promote optimal healing and achieve desired outcomes
- Stay up-to-date with current research and trends in wound care, participating in professional development activities and sharing knowledge with colleagues
Requirements - Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in [state]
