    Description
    A leading M&E contractor is looking for a Procurement Officer to join the Procurement team on a fixed term, maternity leave cover contract.
    The Procurement Officer will help develop and implement a category strategy across the indirect packages for the business, you will;
    • Responsible for managing all indirect purchasing for the business.
    • Setting up suppliers on the ERP system and managing the onboarding process.
    • Manage various internal and external stakeholder requirements.
    • Assist the Head of Procurement with dashboards and reporting.

    Further Details
    • You'll be managing a wide variety of indirect categories across multiple UK sites.
    • Managing senior stakeholders national indirect procurement requirements.
    • Part of a 50+ national procurement team who manage £1bn+ UK spend per annum.

    Candidate Requirements
    • Demonstrable track record of successfully deploying direct or indirect category strategies.
    • Minimum of 1+ year's strategy procurement experience for any large complex company.
    • Ideally you will currently be working as a Strategy / Category Buyer, or an experienced Assistant Buyer who is looking for progression.
    • Strong negotiation, supplier management and communication skills.
    • Relevant degree or CIPS is desirable.
