We are looking for committed and experienced Children's Emergency nurses with excellent leadership skills, assessment skills, and enthusiasm to join our paediatric emergency team.
We are a busy district general hospital who see on average over 25,000 children per year.If so our friendly and dynamic nursing team need you, in return we will offer you support in your development and future career.
We have a supportive Practice Development programme, HDU facilitators, APCP and team of nurse specialists as well as a committed and supportive Medical team.
To lead the team in assessing patient's needs, developing and implementing care plans and evaluating effectiveness on an ongoing basis.
Share knowledge and expertise with other staff including supervision of new junior and support staff.To ensure professional standards are maintained in accordance with the NMC code of professional conduct.
To work closely with parents, carers and relatives to ensure indivdualised patient centred care is provided.
To obtain patient and relative feedback by undertaking clinical rounds with the aim of providing excellent standards of care.
To ensure that nursing documentation is maintained to a high standard.
The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) provides a full range of general acute, outpatient and diagnostic services at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, the Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishop's Stortford, and St Margaret's Hospital in Epping.
We employ 3,500 staff and serve a local population of around 350,000 people living in west Essex and east Hertfordshire, centred on the M11 corridor and the towns of Harlow, Bishop's Stortford and Epping.
