- Design and implement data architecture strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions in line with the Enterprise Architects.
- Develop data models, database schemas, and data integration processes to support business applications and analytical needs.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and tools to support data architecture goals, considering factors such as scalability, performance, and cost.
- Define data standards, best practices, and guidelines to ensure consistency, quality, and security across the organization's data assets.
- Lead and participate in data governance initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing mechanisms to improve efficiency and performance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the data team.
- Collaborate with data engineers, database administrators, and other stakeholders to implement data solutions effectively.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in data architecture and recommend innovative solutions to enhance the organization's data capabilities.
- Proven experience in a Data Architecture role ideally in a SaaS/Software company or demonstratable transformation experience
- In-depth knowledge of data modeling principles, database design, and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong understanding of customer experience principles and methodologies, with experience implementing customer journey mapping and customer 360 initiatives.
- Proficiency in data modeling tools
- Strong understanding of data integration techniques, ETL processes, and data pipeline architectures.
- Desirable would be knowledge with technologies such as Salesforce and NetSuite
- Proficiency in data architecture concepts, including data modeling, data governance, and data management best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.

Role overview:
As a Data Architect at Keyloop, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the connected Enterprise & landscape of our organisation. designing, implementing, and maintaining the data architecture for our organisation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, robust, and efficient data solutions.
This role requires a deep understanding of SaaS business models, with a particular focus on transforming key business processes.
Proven experience is a must in a SaaS business model with and key business processes such as 'Lead to Cash' & 'Procure to Pay' processes. Additionally, you will be the champion and highlight the importance of data and how that moves across the enterprise and the impact on customer experience & customer journeys developing solutions that delight our customers.
This is a new role formed into a transforming IT department so a willingness to adapt and change in transforming world is a must and being outcome and value driven.
